FUN FOURTH: Fun Fourth festivities are ratcheting up to start July 1 thru July 4.  Make plans to venture downtown for the festivities, there’s lots of entertainment and fun for everyone. For additional information and schedule click here. 

 

JUST RELEASED:  Greensboro's hometown Olympic star, Joey Cheek will be the Grand Marshal of the Fun Fourth Festival Parade on Tuesday, July 4.

THEATRE 232: Triad Stage and UNCG Theatre announce an exciting new summer theatre festival from June 11 thru July 9 at Triad Stage.  This production series will include participation from UNCG students and faculty onstage and behind the scenes. UNCG Theatre will also stage productions in various spaces in the Triad Stage theatre building, which will range from family-friendly to late night adult.

 

Acting classes for adults and youth-(ages 11-14) will be offered as well as a variety of other Theatre 232 events will keep the summer buzzing with a full month of activities.  Read More

Minj Grill is now open for lunch 11-2, T-F. Beginning June 26, Minj Grill will feature an all you can eat buffet. Friday buffet will include all you can eat fish. Movie Night Returns for Summer 2006:  This year’s theme is “Wacky Inventors”, bring your family and friends for an evening movie at Price Bryan Amphitheater on Davie Street (Festival Park). TwoArtChicks, Greensboro Visions 2006:  TwoArtChicks proudly presents local fine art competition and exhibition.  Entry deadline is August 11.  Exhibitions will focus on the artists’ vision of Greensboro, open to both professional and amateur artists. BID Town Meeting:  Downtown Greensboro Inc. invites property and business owners within the Central Business District to a Town Meeting to be held on June 27 from 4-5:30pm at the Central Library. The meeting will give an overview of services provided and proposed within the BID District.
