Take a trip to the BEACH this Thursday, May 25th at Beach Music Series downtown featuring The Tams to be held at Festival Park from 5:30-8:30pm.  Admission is $5.00 and benefits the Children's Home Society of North Carolina.  Lawn chairs, blankets and dancing shoes are welcome.  Parking accessible in surrounding streets and City parking decks. Basketdoodle:  Retail gift basket shop opened downtown at Southside on May 20th located at 317 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.  Owner Kimberly Brown opened second store in Greensboro with first store located in L.A. California. Her gift baskets consist of unique, unusual, and sometimes hard to find items and gift accessories.  Kimberly has created baskets for mom and pop shoppers to clients to the stars such as Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence.  This store is a MUST check out.
