Churchill's on Elm: Upscale martini and piano bar formerly Hemingway's located at 203 S. Elm Street has changed name to Churchill's on Elm; same great venue, service and owners.

Center City Park (CCP): Park grand opening is anticipated for mid October 2006.

 

"Spark the Park" if you would like to be involved in planning efforts for CCP's grand opening festivities and celebration, join an Action Greensboro planning committee. The first meetings are scheduled as follows:

 

May 22-Ribbon Cutting & Music for Sunday Evening in the Park (events on 10-13& 10-15)

May 24-Saturday Family Day & Evening Band (event on 10-14)

May 30-Weekday events and lunchtime (events from 10-16 to 10-20)

  Comedy Relief Matinee: Starting June 1st, The Idiot Box will offer a matinee special on Saturday's at 6:00pm. This special includes admission, 2 slices of pizza and 1 beverage (non-alcoholic). Matinee show is G-rated and ideal for family fun. Reservations required for this matinee.

 

  Regular show times Fri & Sat. 7:30pm and 9:45pm. Admission $8, Students $7.

 

Starting June 1, regular show times will change to 8:00pm for PG-rated show, and to 10:00pm for adult rated show. For additional information visit www.idiotboxers.com or call 274-BOXX.
