Antiques and Art on Elm at Center City Park

 

LATEST NEWS

 

Artist in the Round was held at the DGI sponsored Antiques and Art on Elm kick-off party at Center City Park in May.  Five local artists painted on five different canvases in ten minute increments, rotating to each canvas until they completed all five paintings. This attraction at event was sponsored by TwoArtChicks and Artmongers. The paintings were auctioned off at the end of the evening with proceeds to benefit future downtown art events.  See end results at bottom of this enewsletter!

The Goddess Effect:  Pamper your goddess within with the Goddess Market to be held at The Blandwood Manson on Thursday, June 14 from 4-8pm. All animals must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted in the fountain.

Dog owners must pick up after their dogs. Violators will be banned from the Park.

Movie Night Returns for Summer 2007:  This year’s theme is Critter Flicks, bring your family and friends for an evening movie at Price Bryan Amphitheater on Davie Street (Festival Park). Activities run every Friday from June 15 thru August 10 and begin around 7pm, music at 7:30pm and movie at 8:30pm/dusk. This event is FREE.
