In less than 4 weeks on March 23rd, the Triads own Chris Daughtry will be rockn the streets with a block party downtown as Tournament Town Goes Downtown. Be sure to mark your calendar for this groundbreaking event. Hamburger Square, Center City Park and downtown will be alive with excitement. · Friday, March 23rd, 8pm - Daughtry Band at Hamburger Square along with opening band Athenaeum. Gates open at 7pm. · Sunday, March 25th, 2-5pm - Tournament Town Family Fun Fest at Center City Park. Fun basketball excitement for kids of ALL ages! Make plans to go downtown and show your community spirit and give ACC and NCAA college basketball and Daughtry a warm welcome! Admission is FREE. Who are the Purple People? This team is quickly becoming the most well received, loved, and appreciated individuals on the streets of downtown and in Center City Park to visitors and downtown businesses alike. That is, besides the Center City Resource Team (police bike and foot patrol) who are also getting well received attention.
