The Old Settler now playing thru 11-12-06

Triad Stage:  Recently announced the name of their building as The Pyrle Theater in honor of Pyrle Gibson. Pyrle was the mother of Tobee Wynne Kaplan and grandmother of Randall Kaplan. Her enthusiasm for Greensboro and its surroundings was delightfully infectious along with her wit and spunky personality. She was well known for her work and volunteerism of the theater. The Kaplan family has played a significant role in the building and growth of the award winning theater company Triad Stage.

The Pyrle Theater recently completed a building façade renovation with new marquee, canopy, and centerpiece that holds a pearlescent globe surrounded by lettering of the new name. The erection of the marquee is supported in part by Downtown Greensboro Inc. façade improvement grant program.

Singles and Professionals Night for Triad Stage is this Thursday 11-9, a great evening to meet singles and professionals for a pre-show gathering with complimentary appetizers from 6:30pm.

Triad Stage at The Pyrle Theater is located at 232 S. Elm Street. For more information on showtimes, see www.triadstage.org. Ph: 274-0067.
