Center City Park Mark your calendar, Action Greensboro invites YOU to the opening of Center City Park December 1, 2006. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, there will be free hot dogs and other attractions from 11:30am-1pm. Stop by to marvel at downtown Greensboro’s heart space of the city. Note park’s progress: · The grass is taking root and greening; · Early bird bench (see end of page); · Pavilion with purpleheart wood; · Fountain testing of Libation urn by artist Jim Cooper, Lyndon St. Artworks; · Benches are assembled; · Local art pieces throughout; · Plants in beds, approximately 150 different types plants in park.
