Center City Park Update:  The park is transforming DAILY;

 

·   The fountain urn is installed

·   More cobblestone, brick and granite are being meticulously assembled,

·   The awnings on the pergolas are up 

·   Sidewalks on N. Elm and W. Friendly are accessible to pedestrians (west and south side of park)

·   More trees and topsoil are being installed

 

The grand opening celebrations have been postponed due to unexpected delays. Please stay tuned for updates on when the park is anticipated to open or visit website www.centercitypark.org

 

October 15, Sunday Music in the Park with Allison King Band has been cancelled. 

 

Spotlight on Fashion 2006: A grand fashion show hosted by DJ Polo and Delyte of 102 Jamz at the Empire Room, 203 S. Elm Street on Friday, October 6, 2006. ROAD CONSTRUCTION ALERT

 

GDOT, the City of Greensboro, and DGI  would like to inform you of the following:

 

GREENE Street Parking Deck: Work may be performed on the parking deck stairwell and lobby over the weekend with cleanup on Monday. 

 

EDGEWORTH Street: Edgeworth Street between Smith Street and Battleground Avenue roadways will be partially closed. Open for normal use within six weeks.

 

E. MARKET Street: Water Resources is performing construction work on E. Market Street near Church Street, roadway merges to one lane.
