Sunday, July 1 HERITAGE DAY AT BLANDWOOD, 1:00-6:00pm. Step back to the nineteenth century on the lawn at Blandwood Mansion with free tours of Mansion, heritage crafts and demonstrations. Live entertainment with The Backporch Stage on the back lawn and the Carriage House Stage will feature bagpipes, bluegrass, traditional, folk and Old Tyme Music. Wednesday, July 4 Parade and STREET FESTIVAL in Cultural Arts District 10:00am to 6:00pm. Children’s village, amusement rides, craft scene, cool midst tunnel, international hands on village, and a variety of musical entertainment at SEVEN different stages throughout festival. Wednesday, July 4 Fireworks at Grimsley High School (near downtown) 7:30-10:00pm featuring the Greensboro Philharmonic, 1812 overture, patriotic music with fireworks at 9:30pm.
