The Broach Theatre Co. presents UNCG - Romeo and Juliet: Shakespeare’s tragic tale of star-crossed lovers is brought to life with intense, athletic choreography by St. Petersburg Ballet, Artistic Director Yuri Petukhov. This full-length, three act production features Sergei Prokofiev’s well-known score with the timeless story of family feuds and forbidden love. The Carolina Theatre, Thursday, May 1 at From The Mississipi Delta: These are the memories of a courageous woman in turbulent times. Civil rights activist and Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright, Dr. Endesha Ida Mae Holland takes us on the journey thru her life.
