2008 Carolina Blues Festival, YES! Weekly presents the 22nd Annual Carolina Blues Festival, Saturday, May 3rd at Festival Park, next to the Cultural Arts Center in downtown Greensboro. This event, the longest-running blues festival in the Southeast, is produced by the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society and is the anchor event for the 5th Annual Piedmont Jazz & Blues Festival. Hillary Live at the Carolina Theatre

This event is a fundraiser that will take place on Monday, April 28, 2008, at 12:00 noon at the historic Carolina Theatre.  Doors open at 10:30am and will close at 12:00 promptly. The event will feature Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton and is expected to be a sell out. General admission is $50 and reserved seats start at $100.
