Metro 300 opened Wednesday, July 17 at 300 N. Greene Street. Owner Noah Burgess opened his second gourmet restaurant downtown with a menu that offers breakfast wraps, biscuits/bagels, and hot plates until 10:30am. The lunch menu offers supreme salad bar, gourmet soups, primo sandwiches and wraps, salads, and create your own sandwich all of the same high quality ingredients as Metro Gourmet Market on S. 48 Hour Film Project coming to Greensboro on August 3.  Filmmakers from all over the Greensboro area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. Curious George goes Downtown, Movie night returns, bring your family and friends for an evening at Price Bryan Amphitheater on Davie Street (Festival Park). Friday, July 20 features movie Curious George with Piedmont Jazz Youth Orchestra.  Activities start around 7pm, music at 7:30pm and movie at 8:30pm/dusk. Brother Wolf, back for 2 nights, most of the original cast reunites to bring Triad Stage’s acclaimed hit BROTHER WOLF back home for just two nights 7-20 and 7-21 before the production moves theatrical selection to Boone's An Appalachian Summer Festival.
