The unique bluegrass inspired quintet, Steep Canyon Rangers, and original acoustic music phenomenon, The Greencards, will kick off the highly anticipated EMFfringe Series in two diverse and daring performances on Thursday and Friday, July 10 & 11, 2008 respectively. 7/10 Thu The Steel Canyon Ranges (bluegrass), 7/11 Fri The Greencards (acoustic), 7/14 Mon Jimmy Thackery (electric blues), 7/17 Thu The Waybacks (acoustic and electric instruments), Carolina Theatre’s NEW Summer Film Festival runs now through August 17 with themed nights. Tickets are only $5.00. Enjoy a movie downtown in historical grandeur with modern Dolby sound. Dozens of comedians from across The Greensboro Children’s Museum has daily specials of Bee Boppin Busy Bees Monday, Tuesday Tunes, Workout Wednesday, Art Connects Thursday, Fantabulous Fridays, and Family Fun Friday Nights.
