It’s the 1950s and Gillian Holroyd is living the life of a restless witch in the hip Murray Hill district of New York City. Triad Stage continues its first theatrical production in the new UpStage Cabaret with the bloodsucking thriller Dracula, Preston Lane’s adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel. Dracula runs through 11/1.  All seats $18 More info

Broach Theatre Co. presents Almost Blue, in the great tradition of film noir, this new thriller will keep you guessing about who are the good guys and who are the bad guys all the way up to a surprising climax. Set in a seedy boarding house, four misfits play a deadly game of cat and mouse. This play deals with adult situations and contains adult language. Windows Façade Contest

 

Festival of Lights: Scheduled for Friday December 5, festivities will take place along the expanse of Elm Street from the Arts and Antiques area at Lewis Street to the Center City Park at Friendly Avenue. Strolling musicians, complimentary cider courtesy of DGI.

10/25 Limited street access/closing Church Street at Lindsay Street north bound at Friendly Avenue with access to YWCA Place and parking garage from 11am to 12am on 10/26 for Ghoulash!

 

10/28 and 10/29 special school show/events at the Carolina Theater, congested roads (no anticipated closing of street). 10/28: 9:45 & 11:45am and 10/29 8:45am and 1:30pm at S. Greene, Washington and McGee Streets.
