Central portal for nanotechnology and nanoscience in the North Carolina Triad area As part of its public meeting series Getting Things Done in Greensboro, Action Greensboro will hold a discussion of Higher Education as an Economic Engine tonight, 9/10 from 5:00pm–7:00pm at the Empire Room (203 S. Elm St.) The meeting will highlight current research efforts and explore the economic opportunities for Greensboro and the Piedmont region resulting from collaborations between our local research institutions. The Center for Visual Artists hosts its 4th annual summer art camper exhibition and celebration, Dirty Fingernails on Saturday, 9/12 from 12:00pm-4:00pm at the Greensboro Cultural Center, 2nd floor. Face to Face will hold a rooftop FRIEND raising event on Thursday, 9/17 at the Kress Terrace from 7:30-10:30pm. The community advocacy group holds a W.O.M.
