Public Art - Moving Ahead, the Cemala Foundation in conjunction with the United Arts Council presented the City with “Moving Ahead,” a public art piece embedded into the Greene Street Parking Deck that focuses on the evolution of transportation in the Triad on Friday 8/21. “Moving Ahead,” created by NC artist Ron Fondaw, adds color, movement and beauty to the Greene Street Deck. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Little Miss Triad, a talent competition for girls ages 5-10 will be held on Saturday & Sunday, 8/29 & 8/30 at the Greensboro Cultural Center presented by The Community Theatre of Greensboro (CTG). Participants will compete in several categories, including special talent, creative costume, best dress, and community support. All Little Miss Triad contestants will be CTG ambassadors as they spread the word about the competition and all the educational programs that CTG offers.
