EMFfringe Festival, the best of Americana, bluegrass, jazz, rock, blues, alt country, and world music. EMFfringe returns in July for its seventh season of high energy concerts. All concerts are held at Triad Stage, 232 South Elm Street, unless otherwise noted. After Parties will occur at various locations downtown. See this week’s schedule below:

This week features:  Patriotic Parade, Friday 07/03 from 10:15am-12noon at GCM. Patriotic toddlers are invited to celebrate America’s Independence Day with a bicycle and wagon parade. Toddlers can decorate their rides with red, white, and blue with streamers and other fun items. After the decorating party, everyone will head around “Main Street” of the Museum for a patriotic parade and then enjoy popsicles in the backyard. Bring your bikes and wagons! The Historic Carolina Theatre presents the inaugural Carolina Kids’ Club. Each Tuesday morning in July, the Theatre in partnership with the Natural Science Center, will open doors at 8:45am to welcome in Triad children for a morning full of entertainment. Tickets include a welcome and sing-along with emcee Eric Chilton, a special presentation featuring some of the Natural Science Center’s favorite animals, and a family-friendly film on the Theatre's huge screen. The film lineup is as follows: 07/07 Kung Fu Panda (2008, rated PG) 07/14 Over the Hedge (2006, rated PG) 07/21 Madagascar (2005, rated PG) 07/28 Shrek (2001, rated PG) Festivities will end around noon. The first in a series of exhibitions focusing on regional art centers, Gallery Nomads introduces Green Hill patrons to several of the most vibrant art venues in the Triangle and present works by over fifty artists.
