§ The Blue Diamond Gallery: Leigh Ellis, a professional painter and instructor of watercolor from Arnoldsville, Georgia, will open her month long exhibit and unveil a signed limited edition giclee of "Light and a Feather". Ellis and TBDG will work together to donate a percentage of sales from the new release to help raise funds and awareness for North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Foundation. GDOT will hold a public meeting regarding downtown loading zone parking on Wednesday, August 13 from 2-5pm. The session is hosted at the Central Library to allow the citizens, businesses and anyone affected by changes in loading zone designations to review proposed changes and provide feedback. The meeting will be a “walk-in” format with staff available to answer questions and provide assistance anytime during the three-hour period.
